Position Summary

This position plays a critical role in supporting Heath's Creative Team by managing, planning, and resourcing projects, with a strong focus on web and digital communications, product launches, and events. It ensures seamless collaboration across marketing and communications channels by connecting key information and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project goals, enabling the effective presentation of Heath’s products. Additionally, this role collaborates closely with leadership to optimize design operations, document workflows, and drive cross-functional teams toward shared objectives while championing Heath’s design-led ethos.

 Position Responsibilities

  • Support marketing, web, and design workflows for major product launches and one-off brand campaigns.
  • Coordinate with creative, production, operations, and sales teams to ensure information is shared in a timely way and tasks are completed on time by organizing and updating project information hubs and reports.
  • Proactively identify project risks or challenges and flag critical decisions, and clear project blockers by facilitating decision making and action from contributors. 
  • Lead meetings and project check-ins with a focus on cross-functional communication, needs, and workflows. Commit to excellent pre/post meeting documentation and communication: agendas, decisions made, action items, open questions, follow-ups.
  • Work with the Design Program Manager to develop/document collaborative, cross-functional workflows and project management systems for the Creative Team.
  • Introduce or improve tools for collaboration, communication, or creative work.
  • Coordinate photographers and photoshoot timelines for product launches, rollouts, and Heath Home additions.
  • Purchasing tile installation images for our website, campaigns, etc. 
  • Supporting PR outreach.
  • Coordinating showroom event deliverables with the creative team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS degree in product development or design or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a digital producer, project manager, or program manager with experience establishing programs, supporting design teams and developing relationships
  • An alignment to Heath’s values of sustainability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and preservation of craft
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for process, innovation, and design
  • Interest in design management and how to enable good design and utilize design thinking to solve problems.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at different sizes and durations simultaneously

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of a broad range of manufacturing techniques
  • Experience with ceramics
  • Experience with retail environments
  • Fluency with digital project management software 

Work Environment/ Hours / Compensation

This position is a temporary, 6-8 month assignment. The position is full-time, hourly. Candidates can choose to work onsite, remotely, or hybrid. The hours for this position are generally business operating hours, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The rate for this position is $35.00 - $50.00 /hour, based on experience and location.   

Only California candidates will be considered.
